BURNS NIGHT SUPPER

We are delighted to announce that we will, once again, be celebrating Burns Night on Friday 30th January 2026 here at GXCA

We are thrilled to announce that we have all our wonderful suppliers back again to ensure you are treated to a fabulous evening!

Time: 6.30 pm

 

From 6.30pm please join us for a welcome drink in the bar

 

At 7.00pm our Burns Supper will be served. We are delighted to say catering will again be provided by  NJ Catering, so you can be sure the menu offered will be first class

 

Starters include smoked salmon and prawns with a mango and lime dressing or a refreshing watermelon with mint and feta for those preferring a lighter vegetarian option.

For the main course we shall serve traditional haggis neeps and tatties accompanied by a whisky and redcurrant gravy. A vegetarian haggis with the same trimmings is also available.

​

Desserts come as a delightful trio, featuring a meringue nest with raspberries and Drambuie cream, a double chocolate brownie and a lemon tartlet.

 

At 8.45pm coffee and chocolates will be served in the Bar and Garden Room. After a short reset of the Colston Hall we will invite you back in for another highlight of the evening  - the dancing!  We are delighted to welcome back our wonderful Lochnager Band  - as always this part of the evening is full of enthusiasm, a touch of chaos and a great deal of fun!

 

Carriages at 11.30pm.

 

Wine and Prosecco will be available to pre order and all other drinks can be purchased from the bar throughout the evening.
