Summer School at GXCA: The Perfect Way to Try Something New This Summer

That’s exactly what the Summer School at GXCA (Gerrards Cross Community Association) offers. Now in its 41st year, our summer programme has become a beloved local tradition for adults who want to learn, create, and connect in a warm and welcoming environment.

Held at the Memorial Centre in Gerrards Cross, our Summer School runs a variety of full-day courses from 10am to 4pm. Whether you’re interested in painting, history, creative writing, calligraphy, crafts, or music, there’s a course to suit every curiosity. Each session is taught by an experienced tutor and designed to be both engaging and accessible, perfect for beginners or those revisiting a long-lost passion.

One of the highlights of the GXCA Summer School is the atmosphere. You’ll find friendly faces, a supportive environment, and plenty of opportunities to chat over coffee at our on-site café.
