Santa’s Secret Grotto is an immersive Christmas experience designed by award-winning Production Designer Sonja Klaus, whose work includes Gladiator, A Christmas Carol, and Taboo.

Families are invited on a magical journey to meet Santa and his helpers, enjoy festive treats, take part in a candy cane treasure hunt, and capture unforgettable photos, including in Santa’s real sleigh!

Opening hours: Various time slots between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM (please check your ticket for your selected time).

Ticket prices are as follows:

Child (1–14 years): £18

Adult: £12

Early Bird Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 children): £45 (Limited!)

Children under 1 year enter free when accompanying a paying adult.

Each visit lasts approximately 60 minutes, allowing families to explore the grotto, meet Santa, enjoy activities and take photos at their own pace.

Spaces are limited and time slots fill up quickly, especially on weekends and just before Christmas.

Absolutely! You’re very welcome to take your own photos and videos throughout the experience.

We’ll also have a professional photographer on-site for those who’d like a printed photo with Santa (available at an additional cost).

Yes! The grotto is designed for children aged 1–14, but it’s a magical experience the whole family will enjoy, including parents and grandparents.

Yes, the GXCA venue and grotto are fully accessible, with flat entryways and space for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Dress warmly and comfortably, some parts of the experience may be outdoors or semi-covered. Festive jumpers and Christmas hats are always welcome!

Yes, free on-site parking is available at GXCA.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time slot to allow for check-in and parking.

Yes, our café will be open throughout the event, serving hot drinks, snacks and festive treats.

We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, but please try to arrive on time.

If you miss your slot, entry may need to be rescheduled depending on availability.

In the unlikely event of cancellation, all tickets will be refunded in full or transferred to another date if preferred.

Each time slot allows a small group of children to ensure everyone gets a personal experience with Santa.

Yes! Santa has kindly agreed to bring his sleigh, families are welcome to take photos inside or in front of it (if you ask him nicely!).

Klaus in the Haus is run by Sonja Klaus, an award-winning Production Designer with over 35 years’ experience in film, TV, and large-scale event design, including 10 years as Creative Designer for Lapland UK.

She’s bringing her cinematic expertise to make this a truly unforgettable family experience.
