Snooker Club

Built in 1921. Reborn in 2025.

The snooker hall was given to the Gerrards Cross community in 1921, in recognition of those who gave so much in the First World War.

The locals commissioned Edwin Lutyens to create social spaces for recreational use: a women’s room, a games room and a men’s room. The men’s room was designed specially to house two billiard tables, and a plan of the day still hangs in the Snooker Hall. In 2025 the chance came to re-establish the hall, and it was formally reopened on 21 November 2025.
