FIRST STEPS INTO CROCHET - 29 JULY

Date: Tuesday 29th July

Tutor: Sarah Barclay. Crochet is good for the mind, body and soul! Being able  to share my knowledge and therefore the benefits of this craft, is my way of  giving back and making my corner of the world a better, more colourful place.

Description: A step-by-step lesson guiding you into your very first venture of learning to  crochet. We will start with the very basics of creating a slip knot and a chain. We will work our way through the basic crochet stitches, discussing yarn types  and thicknesses, hook types and other tools. In this easy and relaxed setting, you will be guided through a basic pattern and  at the end of the day, you will take home a simple crocheted Rose that you  can add to a key chain, brooch, hat, whatever you like!

Level of course: Details to follow

Student requirements: Crochet hook (if you have) and yarn (if you already  have chunky yarn). However, yarn, hook, stitch marker kits will be available  on the day to purchase for £5.
