Tony Aston

President

I have lived in Gerrards Cross for about 25 years, have been a member of the
Executive Committee since 2012, and was Treasurer from 2013 to 2021. My
career was spent in banking where most of my work was in risk management,
mainly credit risk, focusing on traded products. I am now retired. My interests are
playing bridge, travel, supporting Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (not too
fanatic, I can accept that my bridge partner is an Arsenal fan), and recently
owning a golden retriever.

Mike Lawson

Committee Member

I have an MBA and enjoyed being in the Pharmaceutical Industry. I lived abroad
for several years working in various roles, my last working with respiratory
viruses.  Always interested in sport I captained the Gerrards Cross Veterans
squash team and coached juniors.  On the premise don’t criticise if you don’t do,
I’ve been a Local Conservative Chairman, a Gerrards Cross Town Councillor, and
Vice Chairman of Chalfonts U3A

Grant Hatrick

Treasurer

I am a qualified accountant and have lived in Gerrards Cross for over 20 years. We have 3 children who are all living in and around London.
I have dual citizenship, having been born and grown up in New Zealand. My financial
qualifications were obtained in New Zealand prior to coming to United Kingdom.
I retired 6 years ago and I made the decision to give something back to the community. This has involved fulfilling the role as Trustee Treasurer for Citizens Advice for several years and Trustee Treasurer for Scannappeal, for which I am still in post.
I am a member of Beaconsfield Golf Club and I was Treasurer for 5 years.

John Palmiero

Committee Member

John is a semi-retired Global Financial Technology Executive and has lived in
Italy, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Zürich, Dubai and eventually chose to settle
in Gerrards Cross. He has 35 years experience driving business change, building
trust and implementing best practices, focusing on growth through people
development, which is reflected in his coaching and mentoring skills.  In addition
to being on the Executive Committee at GXCA where he is focusing on added
value projects (like the car wash) John also volunteers his time for various charities including The Sporting Bears and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Total Insight
Theatre.

Sue Hatrick

Committee Member

I am Sue Hatrick, and have been member of GXCA Executive Committee for the
past four years. I apply for grants on behalf of GXCA to help maintain the building
and update equipment. I retired five years ago, and, like many others, wonder how
I ever had time to work! I live locally and enjoy gardening, long walks, upholstery,
and doing up junk. Sport wise I use to fence, but am rather rusty now.

Jas Kudhail

Committee Member

I retired a couple of years ago due to illness, having worked in large financial organisations
in the City of London for nearly 40 years. Nearly all my experience has been in a
management type roles like project/programme management, departmental or strategic
management. My last paid working role involved supporting the senior management team
with a variety of challenges, which could be to advise/implement a re-organisation, a product launch or even helping a business head develop plans for their area.

As well as paid employment roles, I was a volunteer treasurer for a number of years in the
residents estate that I live in. More recently, I have been volunteering for Thames Valley
Police in the Investigation Management area.
