MATTHEW’S GOSPEL AND DISCIPLESHIP - 5 AUGUST

 Date: Tuesday, 5th August

Tutor: Paul Luckraft has a 1st class degree in Theology from the Open Theological College. He has spent many years teaching in local churches and elsewhere and has developed his own courses. He is a published author and has his own website, www.orchardseeds.com

Description: Each Gospel has its own distinctive character and tells us something specific about the life of Jesus and how he interacted with others. Matthew's Gospel focuses on discipleship as one of its main features. As we work through the gospel text, we will see how people were challenged by the teaching of Jesus and how they became his followers in a way that would transform their lives. We will also consider what this might mean for us today.
