Tutor: Rashpal Ranchi is the Head of Creative Arts at Beaconsfield High School.  Rashpal studied Fine Art at University before completing her PGCE and MA in  Education. Rashpal has been an Art teacher since 2016 and has taught across  Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

 

Description: Explore the art of metal embossing to create intricate and interesting patterns. We will be exploring pattern work and the technique of metal embossing to emboss sheets which we will then use to create a small trinket case. Your embossed box will be intricately worked into with a pattern of your choice. We will spend the day embossing our sheets before creating a structure, using metal stitching to attach all our components together.

Student requirements: Please bring £8 payable direct to the tutor on the day  for materials.

Lecture 1: 10–11am 

Tea break: 11–11.30am

Lecture 2: 11.30–12.30pm  

Lunch break: 12.30–1.30pm  

Lecture 3: 1.30–2.30pm  

Afternoon tea break: 2.30–3pm
