Family Fireworks in Gerrards Cross — Celebrate November With GXCA

Make Sunday 1 November 2026 a date for your diary as GXCA’s Family Fireworks returns to Gerrards Cross. With fireworks, music, street food and activities for children, it’s an opportunity to gather family and friends for an autumn evening together.

Whether you come along every year or are joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to this charity fundraising event.

An Afternoon of Fun Before the Fireworks

Gates open at 3:30pm, giving you time to enjoy the atmosphere before the fireworks display at 5:30pm.

Children can enjoy arts and crafts, glow fun and games, while music for both children and grown-ups provides the soundtrack. Street food and a bar will also be available.

Rather than arriving just before the display, make an afternoon of it. Arrange to meet friends, explore what’s on offer and give everyone time to settle in before looking to the skies.

Make It a November Get-Together

Autumn calendars can fill up quickly, so a local event offers a good reason to get a date agreed with friends and family. Invite the grandparents, catch up with neighbours or bring along friends you have been meaning to see.

For children, the anticipation can be part of the enjoyment. Talk through the afternoon beforehand, explain what fireworks sound like and plan where your group will meet if anyone becomes separated.

Bring warm layers and footwear suited to spending time outdoors. Check the forecast before leaving and consider ear defenders for anyone who finds loud sounds uncomfortable.

Book Ahead for Lower Ticket Prices

Advance tickets are available at the following prices:

• Adults — £10.

• Children aged 6–14 — £6.

• Family ticket for two adults and two children — £26.

• Children aged five and under — free.

Prices will be higher on the gate. You can book online through the Family Fireworks event page or pay in person at reception.

Booking together also makes organising your group easier. Confirm who is coming, share the arrival time and make sure everyone knows where to find their tickets.
